Cool Bananas was born out of a personal need. 

After spending several months abroad, Liliana our founder, realized that Lahore lacked suitable spaces where she could enjoy quality time with her toddler while not feeling neglected.  

Many places in the city were either overwhelming and overstimulating, or lacked cleanliness. Among the few that fostered learning and exploration, a crucial element was missing - a comfortable environment for her to enjoy.

Through her motherhood journey, she also became inspired by Maria Montessori’s teaching style, which focuses on inclusivity and independence. You will find our space offers both, while making you feel right at home (away-from-home). We hope you can enjoy this journey with us! 

Cool Bananas is dedicated to fostering a supportive community that is safe to discuss the many challenges parenting and motherhood brings your way. 

We embrace Maria Montessori’s philosophy of respect, and view little children as whole humans with powerful voices. We advocate for positive and nurturing interactions, so that even, in the most difficult moments, any disregulated little one feels heard and not judged. 

Embracing a gentle approach to dealing with children, instead of an authoritative style, deepens our connection and makes our little ones feel safe to express themselves (no matter how inconsequential it may seem to us). We believe that over-time, children will be more willing to cooperate when they feel safe, validated and heard.
